What a wonderful visit I had with my Grandsons last week! It always amazes me each time I see them how quickly they are growing. My heart melted when I walked in the door and heard for the first time my little Dane say "NONI". Can I ever explain the feeling? I think you must be a grandmother to know the joy of it all. Even being a Mom is completely different from this experience. The thing about Grandkids is...they love you so unconditionally. There are no battles over the everyday things we have with our own children. You simply give them whatever they want, and everyone is happy. And my Jackson is becoming a real grown up kid. He has his buddies and that suits him just fine. He is such a good big brother too! Maybe being so far away from these precious boys isn't as bad as I sometimes think....because the visits are so awesome, so rewarding, so special. Those moments that I treasure and keep stored inside the corner of my heart until the next time. A little love from them goes a very, very long way.
